The school year is just getting started and Chicago Iowa Club is honored to partner with Alumni for Public Schools. The program helps kids stay focused on a positive future including a college education. We are looking for Hawkeyes to mentor kids and be available to volunteer at Chalmers School in Chicago. Chalmers is an elementary school with very positive programs in place, and a principal who is very dedicated to the success of her students. We are looking for mentors, tutors, and people who would like to help with or judge science fair projects. This is truly a great way to give back to the community.
